The opposite temperament to the Dyna-Gro liquid: no mixing, no schedule, no measuring cup. You sprinkle coated prills onto the soil, mix them into the top inch, and water normally; a semi-permeable coating meters out nutrients as the potting mix warms and moistens, so a single spring application can carry most houseplants through the growing season. The tradeoff is control. Because release is driven by temperature and moisture rather than your calendar, the granules keep feeding even when a plant slows down in low winter light, and a hot windowsill speeds release beyond the label duration. It is still fully possible to over-apply and build up salts, so use the indoor rate (half the outdoor rate) and leach the pot with plain water a few times a year. If a plant is struggling, fix light and watering first; fertilizer rarely rescues a plant that is short on either.
